Art Exhibition
For visual artists who would like to submit work for an exhibit
Please note that as of April 2007 the gallery is completely booked until the end of 2007. No work will be reviewed until later in the year for 2008.
Please read ALL of the following info if you are a visual artist who is interested in submitting work for consideration for an exhibit at Pi.
Please note that like with any gallery space submitting work does not guarantee you an exhibit.
Below are some tips and guidelines on the kinds of work that we are looking for.
Please e-mail me at kimute5413@hotmail.com if you have any other questions about this process.
If your work is selected then you will receive more info on setting up your show and art opening etc...
Thank you.
- Kim Thompson
Artistic Coordinator for Pi
Info on gallery space at Pi:
Pi is a queer and artist friendly space – which means that Pi is providing space in which artists have the opportunity to show their work to a larger viewing audience. Because Pi believes in supporting the works of local artists and understands how difficult it is for artists to make a living off of art – Pi will not charge any kind of commission for work sold.
Art is shown on a 6 week rotation.
Pi has a non-discriminatory policy in terms of selection – no preference is given to queer artists but artists must be queer friendly.
